ABOUT GUAVA FLAVOURED KARACHI HALWA RECIPE

Flavourful karachi halwa without any artificial colours

Ingredients Serving: 8

  1. 3/4 cup guava juice , tetra pack
  2. 1/2 cup water
  3. 1/3 cup cornflour
  4. 2 tbsp Sugar
  5. 1 tsp magaz ke beej or melon seeds
  6. 1 tsp ghee for the mixture
  7. Some ghee to grease the tart moulds
  8. 2 tart moulds , 1 1/2 inch radius

Instructions

  1. Mix cornflour ,guava juice , water and sugar in a non stick pan
  2. Mix nicely with a spatula , so that no lumps remain
  3. Now switch on the gas and cook the mixture stirring continuously , on low heat
  4. Cook till the mixture becomes thick
  5. Now add ghee and cook further for 6-8 minutes , until becomes transparent
  6. Now add the magaz ke beej and mix well
  7. Switch off the gas and pour the ready mixture in the greased tart moulds , two tart moulds are used
  8. It will set on it's own when cools down
  9. When completely cools down then unmould in a plate and cut in desired shape and size
  10. I have cut four pieces from each mould , so total 8 pieces were made
  11. Serve them in a serving plate and enjoy
