2 Minutes Microwave Idli

Ingredients to make 2 Minutes Microwave Idli

  • semolina 1 cup
  • curd 1/2 cup
  • salt a pinch
  • baking soda 1/2 tsp
  • water 1 cup
  • cashew nuts 7_8 roasted and chopped
  • ginger minced 1/2 tsp
  • curry leaves 7_8
  • ghee or oil 3 tsp
  • asafoetida a pinch
  • Green chilli 2 chopped
  • black mustard seeds 1/2 tsp

How to make 2 Minutes Microwave Idli

  1. Take a bowl
  2. Mix semolina , salt , ginger , green chilli , cashew nuts and water
  3. Keep aside for 10 mins
  4. Heat oil in a pan
  5. Put black mustard seeds and curry leaves , asafoetida , saute for 30 secs
  6. Switch off gas and put this to the semolina mixture
  7. Add baking soda to the mixture
  8. Now take small microwave safe bowl
  9. Grease it with oil
  10. Put 3_4 tsp semolina mixture
  11. In microwave mode high power cook for 1 mins to 1.30 mins
  12. Run a knife to the edges
  13. Serve with chutney
