Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. Fresh Green Chillies - 250 gms
  2. salt as per taste
  3. Heeng powder - 1/2 tspn
  4. Jeera - 1/2 tspn
  5. Haldi/Turmeric powder - 1/2 tspn
  6. Red Chilli Powder - 1/2 tspn or less
  7. Amchur powder. - 1 tspn

Instructions

  1. Wash and pat dry green chillies. Make a slit in it.
  2. Now heat oil in a kadai. Add heeng powder(thodha jyada than normal) and jeera.
  3. Put the chillies and saute.
  4. Now add salt, haldi, red chilly powder(thoda sa for color) and amchoor powder.
  5. Mix and saute for a min or two.
  6. Cover lid and off the flame.
  7. The chillies will get cooked by the bhaap/heated kadai.
  8. After 4-5 mins your masala mirchi is ready. Tastes awesome.
