Simply Sautéed Fish Fillets

Ingredients to make Simply Sautéed Fish Fillets

  • 2 large fillets of any white fish
  • Tomatoes French beans or any vegetables you have on hand
  • 2 tbspns olive oil
  • 2 teaspoons minced garlic
  • Juice of 2 limes
  • Few sprigs of parsley or basil or any herb finely chopped
  • Salt to taste
  • Freshly ground pepper

How to make Simply Sautéed Fish Fillets

  1. In an flat pan heat the olive oil over medium / high heat till surface sheen appears
  2. Place the fillets flat in the pan gently and leave undisturbed for 2 minutes so the side touching pan bottom is seared.
  3. Meanwhile in a small bowl, mix together the lime juice, garlic and parsley ( or any other herb ) of preference
  4. Flip the fillets over with a wide spatula and drizzle the lime juice mixture over the fillets.
  5. Add your veggies of preference on the side.
  6. Partially cover and cook for no more than 5 minutes on medium heat.
  7. Add salt and pepper to taste and serve right away !
My Tip: All of the seasonings can be adjusted to taste. Cayenne pepper gives this dish a bit of a kick !
