Ingredients Serving: 6

  1. For first (yellow) layer
  2. 110 gm cashew pwd
  3. 15 gm oats flour
  4. Pinch of saffron
  5. Few drops of saffron colour
  6. 2-3 drops of rose essence
  7. 50 gm (1/4 cup) water
  8. 75 gm sugar
  9. For white layer---
  10. 1 tsp ghee
  11. 2 tbsp Oat flour
  12. 30 gm desiccated coconut
  13. 80 gm crushed paneer
  14. 3 tbsp milk pwd
  15. 1 tbsp cashew pwd
  16. 3 tbsp Condensed Milk
  17. 25 gm white chocolate

Instructions

  1. For white layer----
  2. Heat ghee in a pan add oat flour and coconut, roast for 1-2 mins.
  3. Add paneer, milk pwd and cashew pwd, mix well. Now add condenced milk and chocolate, stir continuously.
  4. It will be a semi soft dough. Take it out in a plate and Keep aside to cool.
  5. For yellow layer----
  6. Heat a pan, add water and sugar and let it boil till the two thread consistency.
  7. Switch off the flame and add soaked saffron water and saffron colour.
  8. Now add the oat flour and cashew pwd, mix vigorously till you get the dough like consistency.
  9. Grease your hands and butter paper for easier rolling. Place the dough on a sheet of butter paper and roll out to the desired thickness.
  10. Cut the rolled out dough into circles with the cookie cutter or into your desired shape.
  11. Make small flat balls from the white dough.
  12. Plating---
  13. In a plate first place a yellow layer, then white , again yellow and finally white.
  14. Garnish with silver leaves, pistachio and mint leave.
