Butter curd rice


  • plain white rice 1 bowl
  • 1 cup thick curd
  • 1 tbs butter
  • 1/2 cup Milk
  • 1/2 tsp mustard seeds
  • 1 tsp chana dal
  • 1 tbsp cashews broken into bits
  • curry leaves
  • 1/4 tsp hing
  • 1/4 jeera
  • 1 green chilli finely chopped
  • 1 tsp coriander leaves finely chopped
  • 1 tsp oil
  • Salt to taste


  1. Method In bowl add rice butter milk and salt mash nicely
  2. Heat the pan add oil when oil is hot add mustard when it pops had chana dal jeera hing cashews green chilli curry leaves and coriander leaves fry for 2 minutes add this to mashed rice now add curd and mix well serve with papad and pickles
  3. Yummy and tasty butter curd is ready thank you happy cooking
