How to make Pazham Nirachathu / Stuffed Banana

  1. To a pan add some oil then sugar, grated coconut, cashew nuts and raisins. Stir it well on a very low flame for about 2 to 3 minutes. Till they are nice and fragrant. Remove from flame, set aside cool.
  2. Mix little water in flour to make a thick paste. Peel all the bananas.
  3. Make a slit in the banana vertically, make sure that it does not part the banana into two pieces. Slit should be only till the center only. Remove the seed portion from all the bananas.
  4. Into the slit put the sweet coconut - nuts mix and seal it with the flour paste.
  5. Stuff all the bananas in the same manner.
  6. Pour oil/ghee to a pan and heat well, place all the stuffed bananas into the pan and shallow fry till it becomes golden brown.
My Tip: Tastes best when served warm...
