Gobble these delicious plantain banana slices, crunchy at the edges which are then drenched in sugar and ghee.

Ingredients to make Caramelized Plantain

  • Plantain Banana (Kerala Banana) - 1 (thinly sliced)
  • Ghee - 3 tbsp
  • Sugar - 2 tbsp

Steps to make Caramelized Plantain

  1. Heat ghee in a pan.
  2. Then fry the sliced banana on a high flame until it turns golden brown in colour. Note to flip the sides once in between.
  3. Then turn the flame off and serve it with sugar sprinkled on top.
