Egg Chicken Hakka Noodles

Ingredients to make Egg Chicken Hakka Noodles

  • Noodles- 1 packet
  • Boneless chicken pieces- 250 gm
  • 1 egg
  • Veggies of your choice 1 cup (cut in julienne style)
  • salt as per taste
  • pepper as per taste
  • vinegar 1 tsp
  • Soya sauce 1 tsp
  • Ajinomoto to taste (optional)
  • Refined oil- 2 tbsp

How to make Egg Chicken Hakka Noodles

  1. Boil the noodles and drain the water. Then wash the noodles under running water and let the water drain out. (Put some oil and mix so that the noodles do not stick to each other.)
  2. Heat oil in a pan, beat the egg and make a scrambled egg of it. Keep it aside.
  3. In the same pan, heat 2 tbsp oil. Then add the chicken strips and cook.
  4. Next, add the chopped garlic and saute. Then one by one add in all the veggies. (I have used carrots, capsicum, red onion and green onions.)
  5. Stir fry and cook it in a high flame. Then add in the vinegar, soya sauce and salt and put in the noodles.
  6. Mix it well and cook. Then add some black pepper powder.
  7. Add a pinch of ajinomoto (optional) at last and stir fry.
  8. Serve it hot for best taste.

My Tip:

Don't overcook the noodles. Boil it only 90% otherwise it will become too sticky.
