Ingredients to make Diet Soup

  • Lauki/ bottle gourd (chopped) 2 cups
  • onion (chopped) 1/4 cup
  • tomatoes (chopped) 1/2 cup
  • spinach (chopped) 1/4 cup
  • coriander (chopped) 1/4 cup
  • carrot (chopped) 1/4 cup
  • garlic cloves 2-3 (chopped)
  • salt 1 tsp
  • Roasted cumin seeds powder 1/2 tsp
  • Black pepper powder 1/2 tsp
  • water 2 and 1/2 cups

How to make Diet Soup

  1. In a pressure cooker, add all the veggies along with water, salt, cumin powder and pepper.
  2. Simmer and cook for 30 minutes.
  3. With the help of a blender, blend all the cooked veggies smoothly.
  4. Garnish with coriander leaves and serve it hot.

My Tip:

You don't need to chop the veggies finely, just chop them roughly.
