Boondi Raita

Ingredients to make Boondi Raita

  • yogurt (curd) 1 cup
  • Kara boondi/ Spicy boondi 1/2 cup
  • red chilli powder 1 tsp
  • Roasted cumin powder 1/2 sp
  • salt as needed

How to make Boondi Raita

  1. Whisk the curd till it forms a smooth consistency.
  2. Add the rest of the ingredients into the curd and give it a quick stir.
  3. Sprinkle some roasted cumin powder on top and serve it immediately.

My Tip:

Chat masala can also be used here to add a chatpata taste. Serve it immediately after mixing boondi to the curd, otherwise the crunchiness of the boondi goes away and becomes soggy. If you like your boondi raita to be soft, then you can mix and keep it aside for a while before serving.
