Spicy Paneer Tikka

Ingredients to make Spicy Paneer Tikka

  • 100 gms paneer, cut in cubes
  • For the Marination:
  • 2 tbsp thick curd
  • 1 tsp ginger-garlic paste
  • 1 tbsp mustard oil
  • salt to taste
  • 1 tsp kasoori methi
  • 1 tsp roasted chana powder
  • 1/2 tsp tandoori masala
  • mint Dip Ingredients:
  • 2 tbsp hung curd
  • 1 tbsp mint and green chillies paste
  • salt to taste
  • 1/4 tsp garlic paste

How to make Spicy Paneer Tikka

  1. Take a mixing bowl and mix together all the marination ingredients until a smooth mixture is formed. Now add the paneer cubes into the marination. Cover and keep it in the fridge for 4 hours.
  2. After 4 hours, take a microwave safe plate and arrange the paneer cubes in it. Microwave them for a minute.
  3. Then take it out and turn them upside down. Once again microwave it for another minute. Then they are ready to be served.
  4. To prepare the mint dip, in a bowl mix together the hung curd, mint, green chillies paste, salt and garlic paste. Mix it well to form a smooth paste.
  5. Serve the spicy paneer tikka with this mint dip.

My Tip:

Always keep it in the fridge for marination. You can serve any other chutney of your choice with this dish.
