ABOUT Corn Cheese Balls RECIPE

A perfect snack for evening time that is loaded with potatoes, corn and cheese.

Ingredients Serving: 6

  1. Boiled and mashed potatoes 2
  2. Corn 1 cup
  3. Grated mozzarella cheese 3/4 cup
  4. Grated cheddar or cooking cheese 1/4 cup
  5. Corn flour 1 tbsp
  6. Chat masala 1 tsp
  7. Salt and pepper to taste
  8. Maida/ All purpose flour 2 tbsp and water for binding
  9. 1 tbsp Corn flour for dusting
  10. Handful of Bread crumbs for binding
  11. Oil for frying

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, add in the mashed potatoes, corn, cheese, salt, pepper, chat masala, corn flour. (you can add red chilli flakes and dry parsley but it is optional)
  2. Mix well until everything is combined together and make a dough out of it. Then make balls out of this dough.
  3. Dust these balls with corn flour, then dip them in the maida batter and dust with bread crumbs. Next, refrigerate it for 20 minutes.
  4. Fry them in medium hot oil until they turn golden brown in colour.
  5. Serve hot with ketchup or mayonnaise or any dip of your choice.
