Szechwan Chicken Noodles

Ingredients to make Szechwan Chicken Noodles

  • 250 gms chicken boneless, cut into medium size strips
  • Noodles 1 packet
  • oil 4 tsp
  • carrot 1, cut into julienne
  • capsicum 1 small sized, thinly sliced length wise
  • Sweet corn 2 tsp boiled
  • onion 1 thinly sliced
  • Szechwan sauce 3 tsp
  • Soya sauce 2 tsp
  • vinegar 1 tsp
  • salt to taste
  • Water as required to boil the noodles

How to make Szechwan Chicken Noodles

  1. Take water in a pan. Bring it to boil, add the noodles and cook it for 10 mins or follow the instructions given on the packet.
  2. Drain the water, then pour normal water and drain. Repeat this process. Add some drops of oil, mix it well and keep aside.
  3. While the noodles is cooking, chop the veggies and keep it ready to save time.
  4. Heat the oil in a pan. Add the chicken, salt to taste and saute on a medium-high heat for about 5 mins.
  5. Add in 2 tsp szechwan sauce, 1 tsp soya sauce and the vinegar. Saute it further on a high heat for another 5-10 mins while stirring continuously.
  6. Next, add the noodles and toss it well with the chicken. Saute it for a few minutes.
  7. Add in the veggies, remaining schezwan sauce and soya sauce, toss it well and saute for 2-3 mins. Then take it off the heat.

My Tip:

You can increase the sauce as per your heat preference.
