Palak Pyaaz

Ingredients to make Palak Pyaaz

  • 1 bunch of Palak/ Spinach
  • 1 cup water
  • 1 Onion chopped
  • 2 green chillies
  • 2 tbsp Ghee
  • 1 tbsp Corn flour
  • 1 tbsp Garlic ginger crushed
  • 1/2 tsp Garam masala
  • A pinch of hing.
  • A pinch of turmeric powder
  • Salt as needed

How to make Palak Pyaaz

  1. Blanch the palak with water for 5 mins.
  2. Add the palak and green chillies in a food processor. Process to make a puree.
  3. Heat ghee in a kadai. Add onions and fry until they become slightly brown.
  4. Add the ginger and garlic paste. Fry for 2 mins.Now add turmeric powder and hing. Stir
  5. Add the palak puree and stir well.Add water and the corn flour and mix well to let it dissolve.
  6. Simmer and season garam masala along with salt. Stir unti palak is cooked.
