Aloo Curry with Achaari Spice

Ingredients to make Aloo Curry with Achaari Spice

  • 2 Potatoes sliced
  • 1 Onions chopped
  • 1 tsp Garlic
  • 1 tsp Ginger
  • 1 tsp Red chilli powder
  • 1 tsp Amchur powder
  • 1 tsp Kashmiri red chilli flakes
  • 1 tsp Jeera
  • 1/4 tsp Turmeric powder
  • oil
  • Salt to taste

How to make Aloo Curry with Achaari Spice

  1. Add onions, garlic and ginger in a blender. Process for 1 minute
  2. Heat oil in a kadai. Add the onion-garlic ginger mixture and fry for 2 mins.
  3. Add the turmeric powder, red chilli powder, amchur powder and stir fry together.
  4. Add chilli flakes and jeera.
  5. Add the sliced potatoes with 1 cup of water and let it boil.
  6. Simmer, cover and cook until potatoes and done, for 10 mins.
