About Focaccia Bread Recipe

Focaccia is a oven-baked Italian bread product similar in style and texture to pizza doughs. It may be topped with herbs or other ingredients.

Focaccia Bread

Ingredients to make Focaccia Bread

  • refined flour - 225 gms
  • sugar - 1 & 1/2 tsp
  • milk powder - 10 gms
  • olive oil - 1 tbsp
  • water - 100 ml
  • oregano - 1 tsp
  • rosemary leaves - 1
  • sliced onion - 1/2
  • cherry tomato - 4/5
  • jalapeno chopped - 3/4
  • salt - 1 tsp

How to make Focaccia Bread

  1. Take the refined flour, salt, sugar, milk powder, yeast, olive oil in a bowl. Mix well and add enough water to make a dough.
  2. Add in the herbs oregano, jalapeno & rosemary.
  3. Take a round mould grease with olive oil. Place the prepared dough, press with fingers and put 1 to 2 tsp of olive oil, again press.
  4. Put sliced onion, tomato on top & sprinkle some herbs & salt.
  5. Keep aside for proofing for 10 to 15 minutes
  6. Place in a preheated oven, bake at 200°C for 10 to 12 minutes.
