Melting Toast

Ingredients to make Melting Toast

  • Bread slices 3
  • onion 1
  • capsicum (Bell pepper), small 1
  • Green chilli 1
  • tomato ketchup 2 tsp
  • garlic cheese spread or butter 3 tsp
  • Cheese, grated 1/2 cup

How to make Melting Toast

  1. Apply either butter or garlic cheese spread on all the bread slices on one side and keep aside.
  2. In a mixing bowl, add in the finely chopped onion, green chillies, capsicum together. Apply this mixture on all the bread slices equally on top of the buttered sides.
  3. Add the tomato ketchup in big dollops on all the bread slices equally. To make the chilli cheese toast, top it with grated cheese (I used pizza cheese) equally on all the bread slices.
  4. Arrange them on a pan and grill for 5 minutes till the cheese melts and becomes bubbly.
  5. Cut each bread slices into 2 diagonally with a pizza cutter or a sharp knife and serve it hot.

My Tip:

I used sweet corn too and red, yellow coloured bell peppers.
