Macaroni Cheese

Ingredients to make Macaroni Cheese

  • Macaroni 1 cup
  • capsicum 1
  • carrot 1 (big)
  • onions 3 to 4
  • cauliflower florets 1/2 cup
  • mushrooms 1 packet 200 grms
  • cabbage finely chopped 1/2 cup
  • tomato 1 finely chopped
  • Salt, pepper and Chilli flakes to taste
  • garlic crushed 1/2 tsp
  • ginger grated 1/2 tsp
  • olive Oil 2 tsp
  • For sauce:
  • wheat flour 4 tsp
  • butter 4 tsp
  • milk 4 cups
  • onion 2
  • garlic crushed 1 tsp
  • Salt, pepper, chilli flakes to taste
  • Cheese 3 cubes / 4 slices
  • pineapple slices 2
  • coriander leaves finely chopped 1 tbsp
  • Oragano and chilli flakes to taste
  • chilli sauce to taste

How to make Macaroni Cheese

  1. Cut all veggies finely. Keep it aside.
  2. Heat olive oil in a pan, add in the garlic, saute and add the onion. Then saute and add the capsicum.
  3. Saute well and add in the ginger, cauliflower and cabbage. Then add in the carrot and tomatoes.
  4. Add in salt, pepper and chilli flakes. Then add in the chicken.
  5. Next add in the soya sauce and vinegar. Now turn off the stove and keep it aside.
  6. To prepare the sauce, heat butter in a pan, add in the flour, saute and add hot milk while stirring constantly.
  7. Next add in salt, pepper and chilli flakes. As it thickens, add the pineapple cut in small pieces and the sauteed veggies. Turn off the stove and keep it aside.
  8. Grease a baking tray and transfer the sauce with veggies and chicken to it.
  9. Spread the grated cheese on top and bake it in the preheated oven at 200 degrees celsius for 10 to 15 minutes.
  10. Serve with a garnish of coriander leaves with chilli garlic tomato sauce on the side.
