Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. 250 gm paneer
  2. 2 tsp chilli sauce
  3. 3 tbsp tomato ketchup
  4. 3 tbsp tomatoe puree
  5. 1/2 tsp soya sauce
  6. 1/2 tsp vinegar
  7. 1/2 tsp salt
  8. 1/2 tsp garlic
  9. 1/2 inch ginger
  10. 1 onion (cut in square shapes)
  11. 1 capsicum (cut in square shapes)
  12. 1-2 tbsp oil
  13. Spring onion greens to garnish
  14. Marination Ingredients:
  15. 3 tsp ketchup/puree
  16. 1/2 tsp vinegar
  17. 1/2 tsp soya sauce
  18. 1/2 tsp garlic paste
  19. 1/2 inch ginger paste
  20. 1/2 tsp salt
  21. 1/2 tsp chilli sauce
  22. 1/2 tsp black pepper
  23. 4 tbsp cornflour

Instructions

  1. Marinate the paneer with the marination ingredients except the cornflour.
  2. Then add the cornflour in the marinated paneer and keep it aside for a minimum of 15-20 minutes.
  3. Heat 2 tbsp oil in a pan. Saute the onion and capsicum in it. Then add in the ginger-garlic paste, chilli sauce, ketchup, puree, soya sauce, vinegar, salt and black pepper.
  4. In a kadai, heat oil on a high flame and fry the paneer pieces in it. Then drain and keep aside.
  5. Next, add the fried paneer cubes into the gravy mixture and stir well for 1-2 minutes.
  6. Serve in a bowl with a garnish of spring onion greens on top.
