Korean Steamed Pear/ Baesuk

Ingredients to make Korean Steamed Pear/ Baesuk

  • Big pear 1
  • honey 1 tbsp
  • walnuts chopped 3
  • ginger grated 1/4 tsp
  • cinnamon powder 1/4 tsp
  • raisins 4-5

How to make Korean Steamed Pear/ Baesuk

  1. Wash the pear and pat it dry with a cloth.
  2. Cut the head of the pear upto 1 inch and scoop out the seeds with the help of a spoon.
  3. Make a nice cavity and put in the grated ginger, cinnamon powder, honey, walnuts and raisins in the cavity.
  4. Put the cut part back.
  5. Boil water in a pot or pressure cooker, let the steam come from the pot. Steam it for 30 mins approximately.
  6. Once cooked, let it cool down for some time.
  7. Enjoy your healthy and guilt free dessert.
