ABOUT Schezwan Noodles and Rice RECIPE

A mix of rice and noodles in schezwan sauce with veggies. The kids simply love it.

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. 1/2 cup of long grained basmati rice, cooked and cooled
  2. 1 packet of hakka noodles, cooked and cooled
  3. 1 cup of finally chopped mix vegetables such as carrots, green pepper, cauliflower, cabbage, beans, as per your preference
  4. 1 bunch of spring onion chopped finely, keep the white and green part separately
  5. 3 tbsp of garlic-ginger paste
  6. 2 tsp of red kashmiri chillies paste
  7. 2 tsp of soya sauce
  8. 1 tbsp of ketchup
  9. 2 tsp oil
  10. Salt to taste

Instructions

  1. Heat the oil in a broad pan, add in the garlic-ginger paste and saute for a minute. Then add in the chilli paste, soya sauce, ketchup, salt, sugar and saute for another 2 minutes.
  2. Next add the white part of the onions, chopped mix vegetables and cook on a high flame for 3 minutes.
  3. Now add in the rice and noodles, cook it again for 3-4 minutes, lastly add in the green part of the onions and mix it well.
  4. Serve it instantly.
