Thai Lemongrass Rice

Ingredients to make Thai Lemongrass Rice

  • Thai Jasmine rice 2 cups
  • water 3 and 1/2 cups
  • lemon grass 1 stalk
  • cardamoms- 5

How to make Thai Lemongrass Rice

  1. Remove the outer skin of the lemongrass and cut the lemongrass into 3 pieces.
  2. Crush the cardamom using a mortar pestle.
  3. Wash the rice and add water. Then add in the lemongrass and cardamom.
  4. Cook this dish in an electric rice cooker.
  5. Once cooked, remove the lemongrass and cardamom outer cover.
  6. Serve it with any Thai veg curry

My Tip:

The timing and measurements of water is with respect to the electric cooker.
