Stir Fry Aloo Gobi

Ingredients to make Stir Fry Aloo Gobi

  • 1 cup cauliflower florets, chopped in medium size
  • 1/2 potato, chopped in medium size
  • 1 tbsp oil
  • 1 tsp cumin Seeds (Jeera)
  • 2-3 green chillies, finely chopped
  • 1 tsp turmeric powder
  • 2 tsp red chilli powder
  • 1 tsp coriander powder (dhaniya powder)
  • 2 tsp garam masala powder
  • salt to taste

How to make Stir Fry Aloo Gobi

  1. Heat oil in a wok, then add in the cumin seeds and green chillies. Let it fry well.
  2. Add in the the potatoes and cauliflower. Stir it well.
  3. Next, add in the salt, all the other masalas and stir it well.
  4. Cover the wok and cook on a low flame.
  5. Every five minutes, uncover the wok and stir the vegetable. Make sure you do not let any water of the steam fall into the vegetables. Repeat this process for 3-4 times until the vegetables are cooked.
  6. Once you feel the vegetables are very crisp, remove from it from the heat.
  7. Garnish with coriander leaves and serve.

My Tip:

Make sure to use a large wok to ease the stirring process.
