ABOUT Fried Rice RECIPE

A Chinese flavoured rice with loads of veggies.

Ingredients Serving: 2

  1. Rice 1 cup
  2. Veggies of your choice 2 and 1/2 cup diced bell pepper, carrot, cabbage, spring onions and beans
  3. Ginger 1 inch finely chopped
  4. Garlic 6-8 cloves finely chopped
  5. Olive oil 4 tbsp
  6. Soya sauce 2 tbsp
  7. Chili sauce 1 tbsp
  8. Vinegar 1 tbsp
  9. Salt as per taste
  10. Black pepper powder a pinch

Instructions

  1. Boil soaked rice with a little oil and salt. Strain the rice and keep aside.
  2. In a wok, heat oil and add in the ginger and garlic. Saute and add in the chopped onions, saute this for a minute on a high flame.
  3. Add in all the veggies, then stir and add in the soya sauce, chilli sauce, vinegar and salt.
  4. Saute for a minute and add in the boiled rice, carefully mix it well. Then remove it from the heat.
  5. Garnish with green onions and serve it hot.
