Nargisi Kofta

Ingredients to make Nargisi Kofta

  • Mutton- 1/2 kg
  • Whole garam masala -1 bowl
  • red chilli powder -1 tsp
  • Garam masala powder -1 tsp
  • cashew paste -2 tbsp
  • salt to taste
  • Crushed pepper powder -1/2 tsp
  • coriander leaves -1 tsp
  • eggs- 2
  • lemon juice-1 tsp
  • coriander powder -1/2 tsp
  • cumin powder -1/2 tsp
  • Tandoori masala powder -1 tsp
  • Boiled eggs- 6
  • Bread crumbs -1 bowl
  • oil for frying
  • ginger-garlic paste -1 tbsp

How to make Nargisi Kofta

  1. Take a cooker, add the mutton with salt, ginger-garlic paste, whole garam masala, all spice powder. Pour in water and cook the mutton till it's done.
  2. Let it cool and add in the minced cashew paste in a mixer, then add in the finely chopped coriander leaves.
  3. Now add in the garam masala powder, mix it well, then flatten it and keep the half boiled egg.
  4. Now close it, dip it in the egg first, then in the breadcrumbs and deep fry till they turn brown on both sides.
  5. Serve them hot for best taste.

My Tip:

You can also prepare a gravy out of these koftas by adding onion, tomato and spices.
