Avocado Chocolate Mousse

Ingredients to make Avocado Chocolate Mousse

  • Avocados (peeled and pitted) - 4
  • Semi - sweet chocolate chips - 1/2 cup
  • Agave syrup - 1/2 cup
  • Unsweetened cocoa powder - 1/2 cup
  • Milk - 1/3 cup
  • Pure Vanilla extract - 1/2 Tbsp
  • A pinch of salt
  • Fresh Raspberries Strawberries and Sea salt for serving

How to make Avocado Chocolate Mousse

  1. Place the chocolate chips in small bowl. Place over a small saucepan of barely simmering water. Stir until the chocolate chips melt and become a smooth paste, this takes around 3 minutes. Set aside to cool.
  2. In a blender place the melted chocolate, avocados, agave syrup, cocoa powder, milk and salt. Blend until smooth and creamy.
  3. Fill this mousse in a piping bag.
  4. Fill 4 serving bowls with mousse using the piping bag. (You can also use a scoop to place the mousse in bowls) Refrigerate for at least 4 hours.
  5. Garnish with sea salt, choice of berries and serve chilled.
My Tip: You can use honey instead of Agave syrup, although Agave is more sweet.
