Paneer Tawa Masala Gravy

Ingredients to make Paneer Tawa Masala Gravy

  • For masala paneer:
  • paneer 200 grams
  • Marination:
  • curd 3 tablespoon
  • Tamato puree 1 tablespoon
  • ginger paste 1 teaspoon
  • salt 1/2 teaspoon
  • red chilli powder 1/2 teaspoon
  • cumin seeds powder 1/2 teaspoon
  • turmeric powder 1/2 teaspoon
  • Chat masala 1/2 teaspoon
  • Tandoori masala 1 teaspoon
  • fenugreek leaves 2 tablespoon
  • oil 1 tablespoon
  • For gravy :
  • oil 1 tablespoon
  • cumin Seeds 1 teaspoon
  • Carrom seeds 1/2 teaspoon
  • onions chopped 1 cup
  • ginger paste 1 teaspoon
  • Bell pepper chopped 1/2 cup
  • tomato puree 3 tablespoon
  • salt 1/2 teaspoon
  • red chilli powder 1/2 teaspoon
  • turmeric powder 1/2 teaspoon
  • coriander powder 1/2 teaspoon
  • cream 1 tablespoon

How to make Paneer Tawa Masala Gravy

  1. Cut paneer in 1 inch cubes.
  2. Mix all ingredients under marination.
  3. Add paneer cubes to marination and leave to rest for an hour.
  4. After an hour heat oil in a non stick pan and place whole marination on the pan.
  5. Let it cook for 3 - 4 minutes then turn over and roast other side too.
  6. For gravy heat 1 tablespoon oil in a pan. Crackle cumin seeds and carrom seeds.
  7. Add chopped onions and fry till little golden.
  8. Add chopped bell peppers ( mix all 3 colours) and roast for a minute.
  9. Add tomato puree and all dry seasoning. Roast till oil starts oozing out.
  10. Add and mix fresh cream and masala paneer cubes.
  11. Ready to serve.
