Garlic Bread with Italian Stuffing

Ingredients to make Garlic Bread with Italian Stuffing

  • Self raising flour - 250 gms
  • Salt - 4 gms
  • Sugar - 5 gms
  • Fresh Yeast - 7 gms
  • Water - 150 ml
  • Oil - 20 ml
  • Garlic flakes - 5/7
  • Cabbage - 50 gms
  • Onion - 50 gms
  • capsicum - 50 gms
  • Garlic paste - 5 gms
  • Oil - 2 tbs
  • Oregano - 1 tbs
  • Italian Seasoning - 1 tbs
  • Cheese - 1 cube

How to make Garlic Bread with Italian Stuffing

  1. In a Bowl of water mix yeast and sugar and set it aside.
  2. Sieve flour and salt together then knead with the yeast water.
  3. Cover it with a moist muslin cloth and set it aside till it becomes double in size.
  4. Once it has risen enough, with the help of knock back process knead it with oil and fried garlic flakes.
  5. After kneading, roll it flat, spread the stuffing and cheese and fold the dough and give a semi-circle shape. Keep it aside for 15-20 minutes then bake it at 180 degree celsius for 15 - 18 minutes.
  6. For the filling- In a deep bottom pan, heat oil, saute garlic and onion. Once the onion is a slightly pink, saute Cabbage and capsicum. Add a pinch of salt, oregano and mixed Italian seasoning. Let it cool down and use it as a filler.
My Tip: Don't let the vegetables become too soft.
