One-pot Veggies in Chinese White Sauce

Ingredients to make One-pot Veggies in Chinese White Sauce

  • Vegetables like carrot, cauliflower, broccoli, baby corn, mushrooms, chopped into. Bite size and diagonal pieces, 2 cups
  • cabbage 1/2 cup, roughly torn apart into bite size pieces
  • capsicum and onion florets
  • Stock cube
  • Oil, salt
  • corn flour mixed in water, 2 tablespoon in half glass water
  • Spring onions to garnish

How to make One-pot Veggies in Chinese White Sauce

  1. Saute capsicum and onion florets in some oil and keep aside.
  2. To the same pan, add rest of the vegetables, saute for 3-5 minutes.
  3. Add water required for the gravy and bring to rolling boil.
  4. Add stock and cover and let it all cook well, not much time as vegetables will cook quick plus it's nice if vegetables are not overcooked.
  5. Now if required add more water, check salt and then add corn flour and boil to thicken the dish, garnish with spring onions.
  6. Dish is ready!

My Tip:

If you are not a strict vegetarian, adding little chicken stock gives more flavour.
