ABOUT Frozen Persimmon With Stuffed Walnuts RECIPE

A whole new dimension given to the famous dessert from Korea- The Gotgamssam. But i gave a twist to this original dessert/snack by freezing the fresh fruit itself and not the semi dried one as used in the original recipe. Try it out for an amazingly new taste par excellence.

Ingredients Serving: 2

  1. Semi dried persimmons about 2
  2. Walnuts about 6

Instructions

  1. Wash and cut the persimmons from the center taking care not to cut into 2 parts.
  2. Scoop out some flesh from the fruit so that it is easier to roll.
  3. Arrange the walnuts about 3 of them as seen in the picture.
  4. Next is to roll them in a plastic sheet very carefully.
  5. Pop in the freezer for about 6 to 7 hours and enjoy it.
  6. This is how it looks after freezing. Isn't it wonderful? Even the taste is heavenly. It tastes so very good and melts in your mouth like a rich icecream.
  7. Slice them into 1/3 rd inch pieces and serve cold to family and guests.
  8. If you want to store them, keep them in the freezer and can come handy in serving any unexpected guests at home. Just perfect with a cup of coffee too.
