Fish and Chips

Ingredients to make Fish and Chips

  • 6 fillets of any white fish
  • 1/2 tsp paprika
  • salt to taste
  • pepper to taste
  • 1/2 tsp mustard powder
  • 1 cup panko bread crumbs
  • 1 cup all purpose flour
  • 1 egg
  • Oil to fry
  • Lemon to serve with

How to make Fish and Chips

  1. In a clean plate line the fish and rub paprika, salt, pepper and mustard over it. Keep it aside for 5 minutes
  2. Take three clean wide-mouthed bowls. In one tip over the panko crumbs , in the other break the egg and lightly whisk and in the third put the all purpose flour Season this with salt, paprika and mustard too.
  3. Heat oil in a deep pan. Take a piece of fish. Dust it with the flour, dip it in the egg and then finally coat it with the panko. Deep fry until golden.
  4. Serve with some chips - french fries - some lemon wedges and some tartare dip
