ABOUT omam poori RECIPE

Eating oil at night will induce digestion problem for many. Adding this to atta will solve the problem and give different taste.

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. 2 cups of multigrain atta
  2. salt as per taste
  3. 2 teaspoon ajwain
  4. warm water

Instructions

  1. Take 2 cups of atta and add ajwain to it.
  2. Add salt.
  3. Mix warm water and knead well to thick consistency.
  4. Let it rest for 3-5 minutes not more than that else it will absorb more oil while frying.
  5. Make small balls out of it.
  6. Roll the balls into round or desired shapes.
  7. Make sure to roll it 1/2 inch thick to make puffed poori.
  8. Take a frying pan add oil to the level poori will sink into it.
  9. Once oil is hot start frying pooris.
  10. Once poori is dropped in oil press slightly without giving much pressure. Poori will puff and then turn it over to cook another portion.
