About Veg Thukpa Recipe

Veg Thukpa

Ingredients to make Veg Thukpa

  • 1 cup slightly uncooked noodle
  • 1 onion, big size chopped
  • 2 tablespoon chopped garlic
  • 1 teaspoon ginger
  • 1 tomato, big size chopped
  • 1 big bowl cabbage, big size chopped
  • kale leaves, tear with hand in two or three pieces
  • 1 red chili, cut in two pieces
  • 1 big spoon oil
  • 1 veg soup cube
  • salt to taste
  • 1 spoon chicken masala
  • 1 1/2 cup water/vegetable stock

How to make Veg Thukpa

  1. Noodles are boiled in salted water, slightly uncooked.
  2. In a wok heat oil, add garlic, ginger, onion. Saute for 2 minutes on high flame. Now add cabbage, kale leaves and tomato.
  3. Now add water or vegetable stock and salt. Boil it and than add soup cube.
  4. Boil it for some time with lid. Iif veggies are slightly cooked than add red chili powder and chicken masala. Boil for 1 minute.
  5. Now add noodles. And cook one minute or more.
  6. Serve hot with omelette if you want.

My Tip:

If you are a non-vegetarian than you can add any kind of boiled non-veg. Even sea food can be added in this soup at the time of adding noodles.
