Methi Paratha Stuffed Potato and Tomato Chutney

Ingredients to make Methi Paratha Stuffed Potato and Tomato Chutney

  • wheat flour - 2 cup
  • methi leaves - 1 cup
  • potato - 2 medium
  • garlic - 3 pods
  • onion - 1 small
  • black pepper - 5-6
  • green chilli - 2
  • coriander leaves
  • garam masala
  • amchur powder
  • For Chutney:
  • tomato - 3 medium
  • green chilli - 2
  • ginger garlic paste
  • hing powder
  • jeera
  • turneric powder - 1/4 teaspoon
  • chilli powder - 1 teaspoon
  • garam maaala - 1 teaspoon
  • cumin powder - 1 teaspoon
  • sugar and salt
  • coriander leaves for garnish

How to make Methi Paratha Stuffed Potato and Tomato Chutney

  1. STEPS FOR METHI PARATHA Wash methi leaves in running water clearly and chop to small size.
  2. Grind clove, black pepper, onion and garlic to a fine paste. Mix whole wheat atta, chopped methi, ground mixture, garam masala and salt and make a soft dough adding enough water. Mash boiled potato, add garam masala, amchur powder along with salt and bit ajwain.
  3. Make lemon size balls of dough and stuff potato mixture in it.
  4. Roll it to make paratha.
  5. Heat a tawa, place the paratha and cook both sides applying oil.
  6. STEPS FOR TOMATO CHUTNEY
  7. Heat oil in a pan, add jeera, when it sizzles add hing powder, along with ginger garlic and green chilli.
  8. Add turmeric powder, chilli powder, cumin powder and garam masala.
  9. Mix well and add tomato along with salt and bit sugar.
  10. Cover the pan and wait for tomato to cook, finally add coriander leaves.
