Ingredients to make Nolengur kheer (dates nectar jaggery rice kheer)

  • Milk - 1.25 litre
  • Nolengur (dates nectar jaggery) - 1 cup )
  • Gobindobhog rice (small grain rice with a fragrance - 1/4 th cup
  • Chopped pistachios and kismis (for garnishing)

  1. 1. Boil the milk and simmer it while stirring, reduce it to 3/4th amount.
  2. 2. Add the washed rice into the milk and cook till done.
