Ingredients to make Sesame Podi/Dry Chutney

  • sesame seeds - 1 cup
  • Red chillies - 10 to 11
  • oil to fry the chillies

How to make Sesame Podi/Dry Chutney

  1. Take seasame seeds in a pan
  2. Dry roast till it gets a nice golden brown colour
  3. Remove and keep aside to cool
  4. Now fry the red chillies and keep aside to cool
  5. Grind the roasted sesame seeds and chillies together.
  6. Transfer to a plate. Store in a jar when cold. It can be stored for a week or more.
