Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. Carrot chopped 1
  2. Onion chopped 1
  3. Groundnuts 2tbsp
  4. Jaggery 1tbsp
  5. Tamarind pulp 2tbsps
  6. Salt to taste
  7. Karipatta 10-12
  8. Rayi
  9. Jeera
  10. Green chilli 2
  11. oil 1tbsp
  12. Sambher masala 1tbsp
  13. Red chilli powder 1tsp
  14. Water as needed

Instructions

  1. Heat a pan add oil in it
  2. Add rayi jeera kariptta harimirch
  3. Add groundnuts and onions. Saute
  4. As onions become light brown add salt, chilli powder, sambhar masala, tamarind pulp and jaggery
  5. Cook for 2 minutes
  6. Turn off the gas and let it cool
  7. Add carrots to it and grind it to get a fine paste
  8. Chutney is ready to be served.
