Ingredients to make spinach in bbq sauce stuffed chicken tikka

  • 6 chicken breasts
  • 2 tbps chicken tikka masala / chicken curry powder
  • 1 tsp thyme
  • 1/2 cup of hung curd
  • 2 cloves garlic chopped
  • 1/2 cup spinach julienne cooked in boiling water for 1 min
  • 4 tbps of bbq sauce
  • salt and pepper
  • 1 tsp of chilli powder
  • toothpicks
  • cornflour 2 tbsp
  • juice of 2 lemons
  • spring onion springs

How to make spinach in bbq sauce stuffed chicken tikka

  1. marinate chicken in cornflour, salt and lemon juice, this makes the chicken soft and easy to cook, for about 20 mins in the refrigator
  2. now beat the breasts to make them flat , fill in the bbq sauce and the spinach and roll , tie it with a spring onion spring and tuck in the toothpick
  3. mix in the garlic, salt ,thyme , pepper, chillipowder, chicken tikka masala powder and the hung curd , marinate the chicken rolls in it for half an hour,
  4. bake it on 180 degrees for 20 mins or air fry it at the same

My Tip:

serve it with any chutney, if you are a bong ! serve it with kal ta achar
