Corn Cheese Garlic Buns

Ingredients to make Corn Cheese Garlic Buns

  • all purpose flour - 2 cups
  • Instant yeast - 1 tsp
  • Rosemary - 1 tsp (I used dried)
  • Oregano - 1 tsp
  • garlic - finely chopped 6-7 cloves
  • salt to taste (i used 3/4 tsp)
  • Cheese - 1/4 cup
  • Warm water - 1/2 cup
  • olive oil - 1 tbsp
  • Corn - 3/4 cup (boiled)
  • Cheese - 1/2 cup (for filling)

How to make Corn Cheese Garlic Buns

  1. Mix flour, oregano, rosemary, salt, garlic, cheese and yeast.
  2. Add water and knead into a dough until its soft and smooth.
  3. Let it rest for about 1.5 hours.
  4. Meanwhile boil the frozen corns.
  5. Grate the cheese.
  6. After the dough has risen, divide it into 8 equal portions.
  7. Take each portion and flatten it a little with your making a dent in the centre.
  8. fill in corns and cheese and close it tight with fingers.
  9. Preheat the oven at 180 degrees C.
  10. And let these sit for another 45 min.
  11. Bake for about 20 min at 180 degrees C.
  12. If it needs more, bake for about 7-8 min at 150 degrees C.
  13. You can choose to bast it with egg or milk.

My Tip:

Brush garlic butter as the buns are out of the oven.
