Makhni Chicken Handi

Ingredients to make Makhni Chicken Handi

  • chicken boneless- 1/2 kg
  • yogurt- 1cup
  • ginger and Garlic paste- 1tbsp
  • red chilli powder- 1 tsp
  • White cumin powder- 1tsp
  • onion paste- 2
  • salt as required
  • lemon- 2
  • green chillies paste-2
  • coriander seeds -1tbsp
  • Black pepper- 1tsp
  • oil -1/2 cup
  • butter- 2tbsp

How to make Makhni Chicken Handi

  1. Heat 1cup oil in handi and add 3 raw and ground onions. Fry till they turn slightly pink.
  2. Now add 1/2 kg boneless chicken, 1 tsp turmeric, salt and ginger garlic paste. Cool till the water in the handi is completely dried.
  3. Now add Finley chopped tomatoes, 1 tsp crushedred chilli and 1tsp ground all spices. Cool well then add crushed black pepper, 1 tsp roasted and ground cumin and lemon juice. Leave the hands on dum and add butter before converting the lid .
  4. After 5 minutes add 2tbsp finely chopped ginger, 6 chillies and 1 bunch coriander leaves. serve hot.
