ABOUT Paanagam- Jaggery Lemonade RECIPE

Paanagam is a traditional preparation from the South India. The Iron content of jaggery and the tinge of dry ginger powder makes this lemonade an everyday one for us.

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. Juice of three limes
  2. Shaved jaggery/ gud half cup or more
  3. Water 4 cups
  4. Half tsp dry ginger powder
  5. Two leaves of holi basil / tulasi crushed

Instructions

  1. Wash and extract the juice of the limes.
  2. Mix it with water .
  3. Add in the shaved jaggery, dry ginger powder and holybasil.
  4. Mix it well and chill to serve.
