Almond and Oats Sheera

Ingredients to make Almond and Oats Sheera

  • almonds chopped 1/2 cup
  • Broken oats 1 cup
  • jaggery 3/4 Cup
  • ghee 1/2 cup
  • cardamom powder 1pinch
  • 4-5 black pepper corn
  • water 750 ml

How to make Almond and Oats Sheera

  1. Heat ghee in the pressure cooker. Add broken oats and stir till it turns golden brown in colour
  2. Add peppercorn and cardamom powder then add water and pressure cook for 20minutes
  3. Open the cooker add almonds and jaggery and cook till its water evaporates and it turns shiny
  4. Garnish it almonds and serve hot

My Tip:

This dish is very healthy and is given to a lady after the normal delivery of a baby.
