Orange Tutti Frutti Cake

Ingredients to make Orange Tutti Frutti Cake

  • 1 cup all purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup malai
  • 1/2 cup curd
  • 1/2 cup powder sugar
  • 2 tsp orange drinking powder
  • 1/2 tsp baking powder
  • 1/4 tsp baking soda
  • few drops orange essence
  • 3 tbsp tutti frutti
  • 2 tbsp mixed nuts
  • Milk as required

How to make Orange Tutti Frutti Cake

  1. mix flour baking powder, baking soda, and drinking powder in a bowl
  2. in another bowl beat malai, curd and powdered sugar
  3. add essence and milk
  4. mix properly
  5. coat tutti frutti and nuts in 1 tbsp of dry all purpose flour and add it to the batter
  6. mix and pour the batter into a greased tin
  7. sprinke some nuts and tutti frutti and tap down the tin
  8. place in preheated oven and bake it for 30 minutes at 180 degrees C

My Tip:

This cake can be made with 1/2 cup maida and 1/2 cup wheat flour for a healthier version
