Ingredients Serving: 0

  1. Curry leaves 1 cup
  2. Urad dal 1 teaspoon,
  3. red chillies 10
  4. Channa dal 1 teaspoon
  5. Methi seeds 1/2 teaspoon
  6. Mustard seed 1 teaspoon
  7. Coriander seeds ( Dhania) 1 teaspoon
  8. Tamarind 50gms
  9. Grated Jaggery 1 tablespoon
  10. Oil 2 tablespoons
  11. Turmeric 1/2 teaspoon
  12. Salt to taste,

Instructions

  1. Clean curry leaves and dry for 5 minutes on a dry cloth. Soak tamarind in water for 10 minutes and make a paste of tamarind. Put the pan on the gas stove and pour 2 tablespoons oil and heat for 2 minutes.
  2. After heating the oil, put urad dal, channa dal, mustard, methi, zeera, chillies, dhania and fry for 5 minutes till all the items are fried to a brownish colour.
  3. Put all the fried ingredients, dried curry leaves, jaggery, salt, turmeric in a mix jar and grind to a paste. Mix tamarind paste and stir once. Curry leaves chutney is ready
  4. Curry leaves chutney can be served with Idly, Dosa, Vada, Upma and can be taken with Rice and ghee
