Mint flavoured Oats Idli

Ingredients to make Mint flavoured Oats Idli

  • Oats - 1 big cup
  • Suji rava - 1/2 cup
  • curd - Half cup
  • mint leaves - about 10 to 15 leaves
  • green chillies - 2 ( adjust to taste )
  • Eno (fruit salt ) - 1 small pkt (1 tspn )
  • salt to taste
  • water for the batter - adjust accordingly

How to make Mint flavoured Oats Idli

  1. In a bowl put oats and suji
  2. Then add curd, salt & water and keep aside for a few minutes
  3. Later grind the mint leaves and green chilly and add to the batter
  4. Check the consistency of the batter
  5. Add Eno and mix quickly.
  6. Pour in greased idli moulds and steam for 10 to 12 minutes
  7. When done remove from the moulds and serve with chutney or sambhar
