ABOUT Broccoli Flaxseed Paratha RECIPE

Broccoli paratha is a simple and easy to make recipe that is perfect for a breakfast or for kids lunch box. Broccoli has many health benefits including cancer prevention, cholesterol control and it is also a very powerful antioxidant.

Ingredients Serving: 2

  1. Ghee 3-4 tbsp
  2. Onion(chopped) 1 nos
  3. Salt to taste
  4. Green chillies 1 nos
  5. Broccoli(grated) 1 cup
  6. Amchur powder 1/4 tsp
  7. Curry leaves 1 spring
  8. Salt to taste
  9. Chilly powder 1/2 tsp
  10. Garam masala 1/4 tsp
  11. Wheat flour 1 cup
  12. Flaxseed pwd 1 tbsp

Instructions

  1. Heat oil in a pan, add onion, little salt and saute it. Add green chillies, grated broccoli, amchur powder, chilly powder, garam masala and saute it.
  2. Add curry leaves, and saute it for 1-2 mins. Keep aside to cool.
  3. Take a bowl add wheat flour, little salt, 1 tsp ghee, flaxseed pwd, water and mix nicely and knead to make paratha dough.
  4. Divide dough into small portions and make round flat shape with hand and stuff the broccoli mixture and seal the edges.
  5. Dust some flour and roll the paratha. Place it on hot tawa with little ghee and cook it on both sides
  6. Serve hot broccoli paratha with curd and amla pickle.
