Sticky Rice Chicken Fried Rice

Ingredients to make Sticky Rice Chicken Fried Rice

  • Sticky rice 1 cup
  • chicken 200 grams boneless cut into small cubes
  • onion 1 chopped finely
  • chilly flakes 1 tsp
  • garlic 1 tsp chopped
  • Soya sauce 2 tsp
  • salt to taste
  • oil 4 Tsp
  • water 1 cup
  • Spring onion greens chopped for garnishing

How to make Sticky Rice Chicken Fried Rice

  1. Take the washed rice in a pressure cooker. Add water and pressure cook for 2-3 whistles. Let the pressure release by itself.
  2. Heat oil in a pan.
  3. Add the chicken, salt and saute on medium heat for around 10 mins.
  4. Add onion, chilly flakes, garlic and soya sauce and saute for about 5 mins.
  5. Add the sticky rice, toss well and saute for another 5 mins.
  6. Garnish with chopped Spring onion greens and serve.
