CURRY LEAVES FLAVOURED CORN KEBABS

Ingredients to make CURRY LEAVES FLAVOURED CORN KEBABS

  • 2 Cup frozen corn kernels
  • 2 boiled and mashed potato
  • 1/2 cup curry leaves
  • 4 tbsp freshly grated coconut
  • 1 + 1 tbsp oil
  • 1 tbsp chopped ginger
  • 1 tbsp chopped greenchillies
  • salt to taste
  • 1 tsp chaat masala

How to make CURRY LEAVES FLAVOURED CORN KEBABS

  1. Heat a tbsp of oil in a pan and put curry leaves
  2. Roast them on low heat , stirring continuously , untilbecomes crispy
  3. When done let it cool down
  4. Then in a mixer jar put together corn kernels , curry leaves , grated coconut , ginger and greenchillies , and grind into a smooth paste , do not add water
  5. Take out the mixture in a bowl and add salt , chaat masala , mix well
  6. Now heat a pan on low heat
  7. Make medium size balls from the mixture
  8. Grease your hands or wet with little water , take a ball and flatten it on your palm giving a shape of a kebab
  9. Place the kebabs one by one , in the hot pan and roast them on low heat , when one side is done then turn them on the other side
  10. Roast the other side also until becomes light brown
  11. When done take them out in a serving plate and serve with any chutney or sauce of your choice . It goes well with green chutney

My Tip:

The curry leaves should be fresh . If you are using raw corn then first boil it and then use . If you want to deep fry them then add some binding agent
