Ingredients to make Veg Burger(Potato-Paneer Patty) and Oven Baked Fries

  • 4 Burger buns
  • For burger patty
  • 1 cup boiled and mashed potatoes
  • 1 cup mashedPaneer/ cottage cheese
  • Salt and pepper as per taste
  • Fresh coriander chopped
  • 4-5 tbsp refined oil
  • For french fries-
  • 2 potatos cut in wedges
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • Oregano seasoning
  • Salt & pepper as per taste
  • For assembly of burger-
  • 1 large onions sliced into rings
  • 1 large tomato sliced into rings
  • 1/2 cup lettuce(shredded)
  • 4 tbsp burger Mayo or garlic Mayo
  • butter for toasting buns

How to make Veg Burger(Potato-Paneer Patty) and Oven Baked Fries

  1. To prepare the patty, combine potato and Paneer. It should feel like a soft dough. Add salt and pepper to taste. And also add coriander.
  2. Make a paste of water and corn flour.
  3. Put bread crumbs in a large plate.
  4. Heat refined oil in a nonstick pan.
  5. Now dip the patty in cornflour and then breadcrumbs. Use alternate hands to avoid lumping the mix. Now repeat the process again.
  6. Fry the patty till golden, keep aside.
  7. For fries-
  8. Preheat the oven at 220 degrees C
  9. In a bowl mix olive oil, salt and oregano seasoning. Add potato wedges to it. Mix well.
  10. In a baking tray scatter the potatos and bake for 5-7 min.
  11. For final assembly-
  12. Now toast the buns with some butter. Slice the buns into two
  13. Take a slice of bun, top with Mayo, lettuce, patty, onion, tomato and place the other half on top.
  14. Enjoy with French fries.
